If you are fed up sitting at home looking at four walls, or would just like something to do for a couple of hours a week? Why not do some good with your spare time?Have you thought of volunteering with Peabody? We currently have a variety of roles available for volunteers in a wide range of capacities all across London. Right now, our most urgent volunteer vacancies are in our Net Worx programme, which is recruiting for volunteers at both our regular Net Worx sessions as well as our new DigiVan mobile IT learning centre, the DigiVan will hold sessions every weekday at two Peabody estates per month until the end of March. The first two estates to host these month-long sessions will be in Lambeth, and will host DigiVan sessions every weekday from 28 August to 21 September. We also have many more office-based opportunities for those interested in volunteering in Finance or Community Development. If you’re interested in any of these roles, please be in touch by Friday, 24 August so that we can try and fill these roles by the beginning of September. There are also many openings for volunteers here at Sundial as well – even for trainee bloggers!
